List of scenes

1. FAMILY (3:03)

 Country house ambience where Dorothy lives with her firends and family.

2. DOROTHY (4:12)

Dorothy’s solo number.

3. TORNADO (2:19)

The storm is coming. Everyone is trying to hide. The storm takes away Dorothy’s house with Dorothy inside. The storms fades away suddenly. The house hits against something.

4. LANDSCAPE BEAUTY (2:45)

Everything’s getting calm again. Dorothy goes out of the house and enters a beautiful fairytale land.

5. GOOD WITCH OF THE NORTH (2:53)

The Good Witch of the North appears and tells Doroty what has happened.

6. MUNCHKINLAND (3:25)

Munchkinland’s mayor and councillors are presenting themselves to Dorothy.

7. GIRL’S WALTZ (2:40)

Girls of Munchkinland dance waltz with Dorothy and say goodbye to her. Dorothy is heading to the Emerald City.

8. SCARECROW (3:12)

Dorothy discovers in a nearby field a Scarecrow with crows around.

Scarecrow’s solo. His story. He would like to get a brain.

9. YELLOW BRICK ROAD (1:47)

Dorothy and Scarecrow take a yellow brick road to the Emerald City.

10. TINMAN (3:26)

On the way they meet a rusty Tinman.
Tinman’s solo. He needs to strech to be able to move. His story. He would like to get a heart.

11. ROAD TO COWARDLY LION (1:40)

After his solo, Tinman seems to be broken. Dorothy revives him.

All three friends walk the way to the Emerald City.

12. COWARDLY LION (3:26)

On the way they meet up with a Cowardly Lion.

They get scared at first. He appears to be frightful.

Cowardly Lion’s solo. His story. He would like to get a courage.

13. ROAD TO POPPY FIELD (0:43)

Dorothy invite Cowardly Lion to join them.

All four walk on the yellow brick road.

14. POPPY FIELD (3:17)

They arrive to a Poppy field which makes Dorothy and Lion stupefied. Dorothy and the Cowardly Lion fall asleep.

15. ROAD TO THE EMERALD TOWN (1:21)

Tinman and Scarecrow manage to wake them up and all again get back on their way.

Intermission

16. ROAD TO GUARD (0:43)

All four friends arrived to the gates of the Emerald City.

17. GUARD OF THE TOWN (2:00)

They’re stopped by the Guardian.

Guardian’s scene.

18. EMERALD TOWN (3:41)

Emerald City and his citizens. Entertainment, relaxed atmosphere, non-stop party.

19. AT THE WIZARD’S 1 (5:07)

Our friends get a permission to visit the Wizard of Oz.

The entrance gate is opening. They walk through mysterious halls.

The Wizard appears and looks like an artificial monster.

He’s having a dialog with them without appearing.

They discover that he would grant their wishes (a brain, a heart, a courage, a return back home) but only if they defeat the Wicked Witch of the West.

20. CONSULTATION (1:55)

All four are discussing the next move after visiting the Wizard of Oz.

21. WICKED WITCH OF THE WEST (2:45)

The castle of Wicked Witch of the West.

The witch practises witchcraft with her loyal army of winged monkeys.

22. HAUNTED FOREST (2:00)

Our friends get lost on their way to the witch in the Haunted Forest.

23. FIGHT THE WICKED WITCH OF THE WEST (3:07)

Fight with the Wicked Witch of the West. At the end she dissolves in the water.

24. VICTORY (1:30)

Victory over the witch.

25. THE WIZ (2:40)

The Wizard of Oz shows and looks like a timid ordinary man who became a wizard by accident. His solo is grotesque and clownish.

26. AT THE WIZARD’S 2 (5:26)

Our friends get back to the Wizard of Oz and want answers to their requests.
Little by little Scarecrow, Tinman and Cowardly Lion discover that everything they asked for they already have.

At the end the Wizard of Oz can disappear in a baloon.

27. GLINDA – GOOD WITCH OF THE SOUTH (2:56)

Only Dorothy doesn’t know how to get back home.

Glinda (the legend of the soul music), the old Good Witch of the South appears. She tells Dorothy how to get back home (slippers).

28. FAREWELL (2:19)

Dorothy says farewell to her friends.

29. HOMECOMING – FINALE (4:35)

The end. Dorothy’s coming back to her family. Everyone says farewell to us.

At the very end we hear three solo cadences for Scarecrow, Tinman and Cowardly Lion.
